Wagner Ribiero, Neymar’s former agent, thinks the Brazilian isn’t planning to leave Paris Saint-Germain because he still has dreams of winning the Champions League with the French champions.
The 30-year-old is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2025, but there have been rumors that the club may try to unload him now that Lionel Messi has been recruited and Kylian Mbappe‘s contract has just been extended.
Time Neymar has previously expressed a desire to play in the United States, rumors of a return to Barcelona, where he won the Champions League in 2014–15, have been dormant for a while.
But when asked about Neymar’s future, Ribiero made it plain that he believes the former Santos sensation is not thinking about leaving and is intent on ending PSG’s Champions League drought.
Neymar, according to Goal, “has a dream: to win the Champions League with PSG.”
He is extremely determined and won’t let up until he accomplishes it, despite all the rumors of a potential exit.
Neymar responded, “Of sure. I appreciate the vision at PSG. The team is constantly getting better under club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
“They recently completed the training facility, which will be among the best. And right now, he wants PSG to have the greatest French athletes.
Neymar has accrued 20 goals and 13 assists in the Champions League during that time; only teammate Mbappe has more assists over the same span.
